Conversions
So I’ve come to realise that I’m in essence using “conversions” to make my pictures pop. I’ve seen this term used widely on photographers web sites, it’s meant to be a series of things that someone uses on their pictures. I’ve realised that that is in essence what I do too, but I’ve found my own “formula” if you will. Here’s an example:

As you can see, my original pic, with “auto” settings, (yeah, when I DO play around with them, I screw the nice shots I do get, so I’ve stopped doing that) is quite dark and very grey also. That is one thing Idon’t like about my camera, most all pictures are sorta dull and grey. Sad. And beside it, you’ve got my “final” product, to which I’ve changed many settings and overall lightened it because it was beyond just tweeking.

Love your conversion. I’ve just discovered photoshop for my pictures and I’m just amazed at how I can make (what I consider a pretty good picture to begin with) even better or a terrible photo… usuable! I’m fairly new at this photography thing so it’s fun to see how the pros do things too. Thanks for sharing!
