the smell of spring
Oh what a sweet smelling breeze I have just behind me. When I saw the thermometer this morning, I simply had to rush downstairs and install all our screens back in the windows. It is simply the PERFECT temp today. Mild, breezy and SWEET! Seriously, the breeze smells like what those laundry commercial are trying to sell! It’s heavenly! I just keep turning back to the window and smelly the air filtering through. YUM. Oh and all sorts of birds are chirping everywhere it’s fantastic! I wish this would be our year round weather, not too hot, not too cold. The thing is, there IS a place where that’s the case, it’s called Victoria BC! Lived there for 3 years. Ok, so it’s not PERFECT like this all year, but it’s as close as I need it to be! My mom and sister keep “threatning” to go back every winter! LOL They don’t like snow, but then, I don’t love it either. My hubby on the other hand, would be quite sad not to have lots of snow to ski in!
Rinsed off a perfectly good “little tikes” pik-nik table this morning! Someone was throwing it away!! Évelyne loves it already, she kept wiping it down with a cloth I left her and trying to sit in it, which she figured out in the end.
As far as scrapping goes, not much on that front. I’m thinking tonight should be dedicated to that, unless my husband has other plans. We do have tons of things to watch as always… we’ll see. I’m hoping to have a little time to play around with a few more pics before nap time is over, which it’s already half past!! got to get started on that!

It is gorgeous here today too in New Brunswick — and I am stuck in the office all day — blah!

And yay! That was good practice to try reading it in French, too. I didn’t know the word for screens. OTOH, I don’t think screens exist anywhere in France.. so no wonder if was never in our textbooks in school ; ) My g’ma lived in BC for awhile. He last husband was Canadian and wanted to live part of the year in Canada, so they spent winters in Vancouver. It WAS lovely.
