Rain Rain GO AWAY!

SO… For anyone reading, I’m feeling better. I’ve followed a fellow scrapper’s advice and did some good ‘ol scrappin’ therapy. Ahhhhh…. Of course, that means I was up LATE last night, but I do believe it was worth it in a sense, except for the fact that there we’re SO many typos! Doh! Oh well, my sweet sweet husband pointed them out and I corrected. Of course, being this tired has made me a royal pain in the behind to him and my little É. :P As is deciding 15 minutes before we’re due to leave for swim lessons, that I felt I had time to change the entrance locks… Yeah (In my best Bill Lumbergh voice), not such a great idea. Especially since the existing hole was too small and it’s a steel plated door… not a 15 minute job. More like an hour job considering I didn’t have all the right tools for the job. I could hear my mother’s disapproval as if she was right over my shoulder the whole time! BUT, it’s done, it looks, OK, not great, but OK. The way I see it, we need to replace the door ;) And you’ve guessed it, since I stayed home, Yannick took Évelyne to her swim class, which she enjoyed! Phew! She’s been TIRED! Only slept a measly half hour yesterday and didn’t fall asleep until 8pm last night, even though she was in bed at 7pm. Oh, and the best, she was up at 7am anyways! OK, that’s not early, but that’s not late either. :P

BUT, the REAL reason I had to stay is, although I put back the old lock when I saw it wasn’t a 2 minute job, I put it back UPSIDEDOWN! Which was a testament to how truly tired I was. Now, I did down a full cup of coffee before taking up those power tools, don’t you worry. ;) The effects of which are starting to wear off and I’m rambling again. :P

Of course, the shear amount of RAIN and gloomy weather we’ve had all week is starting to grate on all our nerves. É has asked EVERY day to go outside and although we did once or twice when it wasn’t too rainy or windy, she’s getting cabin fever, and so am I! GO AWAY! We have 2-3 more days forecasted! I want to play in the dirt! Plant my new perennials! Hey, that says something, I hate playing in dirt (sand is cool :P) where there are bugs and such, but I can’t wait to get outside and DO something!

Before I go and lay my head down to hopefully nap a good hour!, here’s the latest page that had me up so late last night! Of course, if I hadn’t had a bed and baby to change (she was SOAKED!) I’d have been in bed 15 minutes earlier :P

A couple pics from a trip to Paris I made while Yannick was there for work.

Translation: It was early December when I finally had the chance to visit PARIS! Yannick was going for work anyway, so I joined him there with some of his frequent flyer miles. We didn’t get to visit together, but I took tons of photos and I now have very fond memories of that trip.

Oh and I had a haircut last Tuesday, so I want to take a new pic of myself, except I need a hair straightener! Yes. I have straight hair, but having been weighed down for 18 mo and now being free AND the damp weather, it’s curling in every direction and it looses it’s charm. ;) I love it though. Probably get that soon :)

    B-U-T ful!
Gotta go check out what else you’ve been scrapping up.
I think the weather is to blame for our tiredness. This “long” weekend really took it out of me too. I could have slept for Canada, if it was an olympic sport. Made me long for the days when I was single. KWIM?
