My man C was super easy to photograph and was willing to laugh at any jokes. Maybe it helps that I met him once before, although 2 years is a long time to remember at that age!

This little lady was the shyest of the bunch. I was very lucky to catch her smiling this one time. She was too cute for words!

This next little man was just SO easy to work with as well! Such a natural! Look at those soulful eyes!

Miss T had it down to an art form, let me tell you. I took exactly 4 images of her, two head shots, two full length. I need not have bothered with the back up, they were IDENTICAL! She's got the posing and smiling down pat, and it looks natural and effortless!

Another lovely little miss that was a joy to interact with. Very cute and witty!

And finally, a shy little girl that reminded me of my own. I got her out of her shell easily enough, just had to remember how my oldest girl reacts to strangers and we got along just fine! Here's the proof!

If you know someone with a small (as in, no more than a dozen or so kids) daycare/preschool that are looking for a different type of school portrait, link them up! Even better, get your own child's daycare/preschool to shoot me an email or even give me a call.
... which won 3rd place people's choice for fall theme while it was on display at one of our cities many public libraries! Can you believe I didn't even find the time to visit the expo myself?! Well, I didn't find the time to blog either!

*she wanted a Dora cake & Jelly Beans... but it also had to be Gluten Free!*

*she wanted face painting*

*she wanted candles to blow out, NOT the #5 sparkler I had lit in the first place*

You're only 5 once, right? She asked, and she received :)
*Ready for family party the next day*

*more sweet treats, with more GF jelly beans!*

*actual birth DAY, train track expansion set! Playing BEFORE breakfast!!*

I'm telling ya, if you want to be around a fun and happy family, you got to meet the H family! They were so easy to photograph and yet hard to picture it all into one photograph. I've not taken so many images since I started this adventure and never have had so many to choose from! They were willing to try ANYTHING and didn't wait for my direction at all! Just went with it, did their thing and let me capture it on "film", as it were. I love nice smiley portrait of the happy family, but my real love is those secret moments of the individuals interacting with one another.

I had the immense pleasure of photographing this FUN family! It was a thrill to capture their kids expression! Imagine a sweet 7 year old girl that is obviously born to be a leader and a wee 2 year old brother that has one thing in mind, doing what he wants to do and forget about everyone else! I guess that describes just about every 2 year old on the planet, right? Well, they were a blast, had lots of ideas and let me go to town with their furniture so we could get the sweetest portraits!

I love these guys! Seriously, what's not to love, they are caring, welcoming and they just have the best vibe! And really, who could resist this little guy? I couldn't! :P

World, meet Sienna, a wonderfully laid back little girl with personality ;) She doesn't have much choice being the little sister to a very active and confident big sister :) She was a great combination of awake and asleep and Mom and Dad we're a pleasure as before (remember the B Family?) It was a blast and I had WAY too much fun and too much to choose from :)I can't wait for them to see their images tomorrow morning, for now, we'll all have to make due with this sneak peek :)

Just a sneak peek for them and you all, sort of anonymous really ;)
