Miss T, contortionist extraordinaire!

After a 39 week scare that made us all scramble like headless chickens, dearest miss T decided she would NOT budge until she was good and ready. 10 days overdue that is! Regardless of when she finally made her debut, she was one cute little “sumo wrestler” as her dad put it on Facebook! When their came time for their newborn session, she was nothing but the cutest little girly girl!

He’s here! Little S was born in late March with all ten toes and all ten fingers. Poor little guy spent some extra time at the hospital and was very jaundiced when I was there. He’s pulled through like a champ and is keeping his parent’s on their toes, as all babies should And let me tell you, these were dedicated clients! Our shoot was scheduled to be at day 5 (5 day old newborn) and they didn’t postpone it even though they only came back from the hospital the day before! If they hadn’t told me, I’d never have known! Frazzled, of course; tired, for sure; both both I would expect from any new parent! They are strong and will make it through many ups and downs in life with the way they carried themselves whilst living through those feelings. Baby S even had to go back to the hospital only a few days after our shoot too! I tip my hat to them both, great parents with the sweetest baby boy!

Remember little “L” and this maternity? Well, meet baby R!! She was just absolutely GORGEOUS! I mean, just LOOK at all that hair!! And there is NO taming that. NONE. It just flares out naturally! lol She was just a doll awake and asleep. Full of smiles already (barely 1 month old too!) and just putty once asleep. A-dorable. Merci la famille pour une superbe journee en votre compagnie! This is my favorite so far and I couldn’t resist posting it asap!

Remember this fantastic double maternity? Well, THE BABIES ARE HERE!! They were due about 2 weeks apart (18th & 27th) and were born just 4 days apart! As luck would have it, I got to photograph this little man yesterday at just 10 days. He is SUCH an awake baby! Aware of everything around him, not a fusser AT ALL. Can I order 3 of those? Once we finally got his tummy full {hello growth spurt feedings} he was OUT. I think the best moments of all, to me, was when he would just fall back to sleep in my arms (mom smelled WAY too good to sleep ) and when he would hear either mom or dad talk, you could totally SEE it in his eyes that he recognized their voice. AMAZING. I LOVE my job!

How sweet it is! The most amazing part of this family, is that they started it all. Their first born, barely two here, was my very first newborn! When did he turn 2! When did this adventure of mine changed from being counted by days and months into years! Their newest addition didn’t even wait for us to reschedule a maternity session! Bookings came up, scheduling conflicts happened and the only day I could *possibly* have photographed this happily patient mum, is the day he decided he’d had enough!

World, meet Sienna, a wonderfully laid back little girl with personality She doesn’t have much choice being the little sister to a very active and confident big sister She was a great combination of awake and asleep and Mom and Dad we’re a pleasure as before (remember the B Family?) It was a blast and I had WAY too much fun and too much to choose from I can’t wait for them to see their images tomorrow morning, for now, we’ll all have to make due with this sneak peek

Presenting a new addition, Mr. Edmond T He was a character, let me tell you. Very “awake” for a 7 day old! I got there and he was sound asleep and after too much chatting and nursing, he woke up completely when we decided to start. Oh well, not all babies are meant for that asleep look.
